i have a 78 280z with a 76 engine it came out of a car we parted out the engine has been rebuilt it has a performance cam in it but we have to advace it so far to run so it ideals fast and it just doesnt have the power it should have. its not a vac leak i have looked. can u help??

wow. idk why but that post is weird to read. i think you need to be more descriptive of the problem. and what exactly you did to make it idle right. btw cam'd cars ARENT suppose to idle right, they will idle surge and thats the way it is. so i hope you didnt try to advance the idle with the idl adjustment screw so far that its at like 1500 RPM or something.
