280Z goes flat at 3000RPM Im stumped Please help!

So we have a 78 280Z. When in neutral she seems to rev up just fine. Small hesitation but things crazy. Once you drive her and get her under load that's where things go south. When she gets up to 2800-3000 RPM she goes flat with no power.

We changed the plugs, wires, cap and router, PCV and fuel filter your regular tune up. Also checked the air flow meter and that was bad so that was replaced. I also checked the fuel pressure and that is spot on as well and stays at proper pressure when revving it up.

Has someone out there experienced this before?

Thank you in advance for your help everyone!

This sounds similar to a problem I had on some 240SX's one ended up being the timing 180 out. the other ended up needing the ECU replaced or the ecu connector cleaned. I can't remember now it was a few years ago.
