78 280z AT 5SP swap Clutch Bolts

Does anyone have the dimensions and thread spacing for flywheel and clutch plate bolts? My clutch kit didn't come with any. I'm assuming I can use the same AT flywheel bolts, but I don't have any clutch plate bolts and just want to make sure I get the rights ones. Thanks!

For the pressure plate to flywheel I'm using M8 x 16mm 1.25 Pitch Grade 10.9 bolts.

I still don't know the dimensions of the flywheel to crankcase bolts for a manual. Anyone???

You mean crank shaft? Reuse the bolts from the torque converter flex plate. That's what I did.

It doesn't bolt to the crankcase? Man I need to rethink this whole endevour! :017:

I was under the impression from some other forums that you couldn't reuse the old bolts. Someone said they were too short. I'm guessing that's not the case then. Thanks for the input!

Did the swap Thursday. The stock bolts fit, but if anyone is interested they are 25mm long, and 12mm in diameter (m12) grade 12 bolts with (I think) fine threads. There were no lock washers. I used blue threadlocker though.

Also I know it's listed elsewhere, but now it's listed again for all you Googlers. The manual transmission flange is twice as thick as the auto flange (40mm vs 20mm). The new bolts you will need to hold the tranny to the motor are M10 1.5 with three being 60mm long and one (the one on the side of the tranny in front of the driver) being 65mm long. I recommend 10.9 grade but I used 8.8 because that's all Fastenal had.
