i was gonna test it.. but then i thought.. i am changing out the thermostat anyway.. might aswell

 

That's an expensive "might as well" if it's not the prob.

hmmm... i suppose your right on that note... must go buy a multimeter then

 

new symptom to report, after changing the oil out(which was black) the car has much better reving.. very little hesitation. But, when reving it...it seemed to back fire out of somewhere near the front of the engine near the rad.. what could this be? thanks
