240z Pertronix - Won't Start?

I just installed a Pertronix Ignitor on my 240z and, although this seems like the easiest installation ever, the car now turns over, but wont catch (start). It's a stock 240z dizzy in a manual transmission car. I'm using a MSD Blaster 2 coil.

I removed the rotor, points, and condenser. Installed the Pertronix, connected the red wire from the pertronix to the positive side of the coil and connected the black wire from the pertronix to the negative coil. The large resistor is still connected.

Any suggestions? Also, does anyone know what the green and the black/yellow wire are for? They were not connected to anything previously, they were cut by the former owner. The yellow wire seems to be for the H2O gauge.

If it won't start (and it did start before doing this), then you have no spark.

Have you checked voltage to the coil? Maybe you need to keep the condenser hooked up?

so, no luck. I reinstalled the condenser and I've even completely reinstalled the points ignition and I cannot get the car to start. I'm thinking maybe it's a bad coil? So frustrating....

holy crap, I just realized I made the most rookie move ever. I didn't have the rotor on!!! Starts up and runs great. I'm totally embarrassed, but figured I had to post it regardless....wow.
