yeah i just discovered the 5-lug conversion last night. looks good. then the stub axles are stronger too. or they can be anyway.

snw, you are you just saying that the selection of wheels for hondas doesn't have any wheels with a big lip?

260zturbo, your Z looks good with the wheels on! Can't wait to see it when you get the flares on.

why do you say that honda wheel adapters would cause me to loose all the lip action? cause all the wheels that would fit it don't have big lips?

yeah that's what i thought. - offset is very hard to find. rota has about one set of wheels that i can find with the offset that i'm looking for. the rb's that are 17x9 and 9.5, with -19 and -13 i think off sets. that's about it. is that what you had 260?

yes, -19 in the rear and -13 in the front. lifegrddude just got -13 17x9 on all four corners. just remember 0 offset is stock.

so what about putting spacers on to stick these wheels out a bit? about 1/2 -1/4 inch? is that a big deal? pretty easy? i think that would give the look that i want

you need to use longer wheel bolts and i think that brings the pressure further away from the hub causing the bearing to fail much more easily. and blah blah blah

oh yeah i see. so the longer the spacer, the worse the wear. so a 1/4 in spacer would probably be close to un-noticeable i expect. that might be good. i'm just not really seeing those rotas fit like 280zforce's customs. i really like his fit. i think they need some fairly high profile tires, and to stick out just a tad more, so that it takes up enough space to raise the flair a little more than they normally sit. then you have the coolest f-ing looking z car ever right there. but the rotas with standard flares do look pretty sweet

just got my flares in

they will need to be bended to properly fit. they have labels on which side they go on. i was just tickled pink so i randomly grabed a rear and placed it so this is most likely for the right side. just to give yall a taste. i might do the cutting this weekend if i have free time

most important cannot forget the install kit (sheet metal screws is a big no no for me)

you wanna stay away from wheel spacers if you do alot of autox and drag. if you cruise around alot they are ok but you need to check the spacers and retorque everything
