Kinda hard to know "what you missed" if you don't tell us what you've found. :D There are many options... MSA has a selection, as well as other wheel suppliers. The key piece of missing info: What offset / backspacing do you want?

Does anybody here know if 15 x 10 inch rims with -25 offset fit the front and 15x10 with a -38 offset fit the rear of a 74 datsun 260z with out issues other then flaring the fenders of course?...want to order some diamond wheels for my ride.

romanjr 10-10-2013 06:40 PM

hey theatriks,
I ordered that exact setup. It should be here monday! From what I've read they should fit and clear all suspension parts. You will have to run flares if you want it low. Im going to be mocking up my flares and wheels soon. Ill let you know asap but it might be about a week.

To the OP. From what I read, you can run anything up to 10" wide pretty easily as long as you have 4.5" of backspacing if your running stock suspension.

thanks roman!...keep us updated on wheel fitment and maybe slap some pics up......threads are much better with pics:icon_super:.....oh ya what rims did you get !

jimbolo619 10-14-2013 05:57 PM

I was planning the same thing as my wheel setup! Hope it works Roman

I got the all black sc series. The one with the circular holes. I hope they get here tomorrow. Then when the flares get here I'll get it done! I'll definitely post pics.

The diamond sc's nice i was looking at those too because they look good and priced pretty reasonably....cant wait to see the pics!

theatriks 10-21-2013 08:21 AM

wheels look great! and those are the exact same offsets and rim size i mentioned?......cant wait to see it on your car!

romanjr 10-23-2013 06:33 PM

Yea. Exact same size and offset. I bought 225 50 15 Kumho ecsta. I hope to get them mounted this friday afternoon. I already purchased my coil over setup. I got a stance coil over that was set up by Sakura Garage here in Tempe, AZ. There aren't that many coil over options and he basically put one together all from stance suspension. That should go on this weekend or early next week and then the wheels! I'll keep you posted.

theatriks 10-24-2013 07:24 AM

Cant wait to see the final product!

Ya theres hardly any coilover options that dont requiring welding for these cars......i just ordered the direct bolt on kits from techno toy tuning...

JDMFairladyz
I paid 1500. Its a nice true coil over set up so you don't loose shock travel when you lower the car. Ill post pics when it comes in.

theatriks
Nice. T3 has nice coil overs, I wanted to get those as well but they're $2000.

Wow! I want something like that done to mine... Romanjr did you have to cut the fenders. What kind of bolts and washers you use on the flares if you dont mind me asking?

romanjr 11-21-2013 08:55 PM

Robert,
Yea the fenders had to be cut to fit the wheels since I wanted to car to sit low. It has the nutserts/rivets. I don't have a bolt going all the way through, its a threaded nutsert and the flares just bolt into them.
