stock vs custom

Looking at Corbeau, among others but haven't found the right choice that fits and doesn't take away from the Z look. 73' Z stocks been faithfull but thinking of coming off the hip and upgrading. Clearence, height and view are issues to overcome, as all know. I'm just shy of 6'. Moding and fabings not a problem, just need a design goal and look.
Course it matters what your goal is. Mine is longhaul comfort with more everyday support when I occasionly need it. Any feedback would be great.

I had to infer from the name Corbeau... that you are asking about seats...???

I am 6ft tall.... I have replaced 3 sets of S30 seats... All of them fit differently... All of them needed customization to allow the use of stock sliders.... I have a set of solid back Corbeau seats that are too high with the stock sliders... I have a set of Recaro's that sit too low without spacersand sliders... .. and I have never seen an aftermarket seat that just bolted in...

Make sure you buy a seat that you can fit your tail into.... tight fit is NOT a good thing in the hips and back area.... you want some room to wiggle... shoulder support is what separates a simple replacement seat from a driving seat... shoulder support gets in the way... but it helps in high-G maneuvers.
