rear bumper

rear bumper

i have a 280z and im trying to take of a part of the rear bumper but i cant seem to find out how is it on with glue or what ? because it doesnt have crews i uploaded a pic its that red think sticking out

I don't think that is factory. It probably is glued on. Try running a blade along it. If you are lucky it is two sided trim tape and you can get it off without buggering up the paint.

It was welded on I had to cutt it off now in in the process of painting my car (: thanks anyways

FYI, it is factory. Look in the BF section of the 1978 FSM.
