PS mags

I just purchased a 71 240z last week. It came with some rims that I have not seen before. They have 8 slots in them with a ps center cap. Are theese desirable?

picture will be nice!!

Yeah, a pic is kinda required.

Try this: take the pic face-on, you know, the whole rim. Transfer it to your 'puter, upload it to Google Image and do a search. You might find out the original sale price - or that some guy in Arizona will trade you his girlfriend for two of 'em! :033:

Well I am batting 0 on trying to post pictures. The mags look like the first picture if you google search 240z per spec wheels. Maybe somebody can help me post.

If the photos are on your computer, you can use the "Manage Attachments" button to upload them. This button isn't always visible or obvious when you are creating a post. Scroll your screen down when posting and you'll see all sorts of other options.

Make sure your photos are less than 1600x1200 pixels (believe me, that's plenty) and they will look fine.

So, hit the "Manage Attachments" button and a new window will open on your screen. Use the "Browse" buttons to find and designate which file or files you want to upload. Then upload all the photos and close the window. Tada! Your files are now resident on ZDriver and are attached to your post. Don't forget to submit your post as your last step.

While many girlfriends in Arizona are absolutely drop dead gorgeous :055::118:, they will cost you money. If "some guy in Arizona" offers a girlfriend, make sure lots of cash comes with her as well.

I'm one of those fortunate Arizona guys, my wife says my girlfriend is a red-head out in the garage. She has four wheels, an inline six and was born in Japan in 1974. If that's the kind of "girlfriend" offered, take it.

Does anyone have any info on theese rims?

beg3yrs 06-04-2015 07:36 AM

Don't know much about them. I think you can get center caps at MSA.

IMHO they are definitely good old school.

theramz 06-04-2015 12:46 PM

I had a set of those I got at pickinpull a few years ago. I first saw them on a 240 back in the '70s. There were no identification marks but I think they were made by Western wheel. All aluminum wheels back then were dealer installed. I got new center hubs from MSA. I had to belt sand down the part that fits in the wheel but the wheels polished up beautifully. So yes they look great and are period correct.

I just remember them as Per Spec.
From the 70's.
I used to have the Company and their address but
can no longer find.
Pretty sure they are history now.
They were 14 inch. Not popular now as a good 14 inch tire
is harder to find in the size needed for a Z.
