I actually like that a lot. the problem that you may face is that the s30 front end isn't the most aerodynamic.

i think the front lower valance or w/e you wanna call it is a little to plain.. or flush.. try to think up of some guts to put in it... or open it up a little more fromt he original grill... kinda liek the xenon front bumper is for the S30

Scratch Side Vents
Looks better without them (I think). My idea was bad. The side exhaust looks good though.

This started as a pic of a car for sale on ebay a couple years ago. I saved it and did the mods with Nikon software that was free with the camera. If you just crop and resize it works okay. If you want to create from scratch it's like doing pin strips with a broom.

^ It is pretty good work there man. But there is one problem. The main reason I have always liked the Z, was the rear hatch. Without it, it looks like any other car. Just my opinion, it gives it a nice smooth look. What can I say? The Z is smooth in about every part of it's body. As soon as you ditch some gawdy trim off the sides. Which I did with my '82, and now I think it looks so much cleaner, and smoother now. Well minus the bodywork I need done. Anyway don't want to ramble off subject. But great work anyway man, you got some skills.

Here is the hatchback. I chopped the top and increased the rake angle on the windshield.

Well, the S30 has about 3 1/2 inches under the seat rails and most have spacers in between those. A Corvette seat is much lower to the floor than a Z. The roof is only chopped about 2. A V8 would allow a lower hoodline and dash similar to the vette.

The new 5.0 Nissan Turbo V8 allows a lower hood line and windsheild.

LED headlights.... squaring out the wheel well lips a little more (similar to the 350) and dropping both of the bumpers a few inches..

there technically arent any bumpers to drop... LED headlights??? you really think that would work/look well???? .... hmm... try the squared well lips i guess....
i still like my smoothing of the ridge on the side bodyline.. where the trim piece would go...

The 540Z
Might as well put in a 5.4 V8 and call it the 540Z.

Like it all around especially the "chopped " top look..on the other hand I gotta agree that if Nissan wanted to really do retro..just reintroduce the total body of any of the 240 - 280 Z's ...imagine the power with the weight out of the car using todays body panels..as well as the suspension upgrades that are now available..however I do like the look of the car you presented.
