Didn't dig their helmets though. Where do you guys recommend other than Cycle Gear?

Also, I got insurance through progressive for $1300 (much better than Geico's $3350) lol
Congrats...be careful out there.

Yeah, make sure you get te right size helmet. Most people make the mistake of getting a size that feels really good on them at the store only to have it loosen up in a couple of weeks due to break-in and the fact that sweaty hair is more compact. At the store is should be snug, but not headache-inducing tight. Grab the chin bar and try to rotate the helmet on your head. It shouldn't move more than a degree or two. Also, if you plan on riding during the day, consider a tinted shield. Just don't get caught out at night with it. I've always had Shoei's just because they fit me well. Different brands fit differently. Don't assume that if a large Shoei fits that you take a large in every brand.

I've got Tecknic Violators. They're great for aggressive riding/track duty, but I wouldn't want to walk around in them for more than about an hour.

Should be here in about an hour and they go over all the info with me then...

And believe me I already have plans for the bike. Haven't been able to stop research online. Found a few great forums with tons of advice. I am shocked at how expensive the exhaust systems are for these though. Slip-ons for like $1300, Full exhausts for like $2000... Damn!!!

Some say there are , most dont bother with it and just ride. As long as its not being broken in on the racetrack your fine.
