Buttonwillow 6/2/07-6/3/07

I talked to Karim last night, and we are kinda interested in going to Buttonwillow the first weekend of June.

It's $210 Saturday, $190 Sunday, $340 Both, +$30 Instructer fee for first timers.

Anyone interested in going?

PDS won't be back until September/October.

I may be down to go as well...

If the Z is painted by then we may go to HIN just because it is so close to San Diego. If not, I may bring the EVO to Buttonwillow.

Decide on a color yet?
Are you going to keep the color a secret?

Haven't 100% decided yet, but I am leaning back towards the Laguna Seca Blue off of an E46 M3. Those color M3s look awesome on the track.

That would be fun and insane.....there would have to be heavy red bull consumption...but wait...its cali....correction...there would have to be heavy NOS energy drink consumption (I literally jsut yesterday on the way back purchased an entire case of that NOS drink at a 7/11, lol, that **** is fantastic).

No Monster fell through. The guy was "not interested in time attacks" as they did not have enough spectators lol. I guess he doesn't care about magazine stuff. I talked to Tanner Foust about it and he said that Rockstar is the same way, but all they care about is TV coverage. Wierd. So for now the search continues but I figured, if I land a big name sponsor that gives me money, I will use part of it to paint the car to their color scheme.

Thanks for the tip on the Z out at Nellis. I will search for pics from that event.

Was it the D1GP exebition or something else? The only Zs listed at the D1GP thing were Tanner Foust (Yellow), and Chris Forseberg (white/blue). Also looked through 160+ pics on CarandModel.com and there wasn't any of a LS Blue Z. There was a Silvia with a color that was pretty close though.

There is a blue colored Z at the NJ D1 event....look in the new pics section at D1gp and then select the NJ event. It looks pretty sharp. Is that the color your thinking about?

That car is so ragged out , he was at the Nellis drift even last month with Vegas Drift. Its got an APS single turbo and moves out rather well. The owner is cool as hell, i would love to see him in an actual drift comp, hopefully he'll be at D1 in Vegas.
