1979 280ZX in excellent condition

I'm always looking at Z cars for sale locally and I found a unusually clean 280ZX. In my neck of the woods these cars have some form of rust - typically way beyond repair. Some of you know the routine. You call up and ask about the car - pretty much number one in my mind is how rotten is this thing? The owner states there is a little rust in the floor pan and you go look at it and the bondo is falling out because the paint is all that is left holding the bondo in. The floors are rotted out, the rockers, frame, fenders, rear hatch, front strut towers - there is less car that ISN'T rotten.... I've been looking at these cars for the last 17 years and its the same sad story almost every time.

.... but this time it was different. I saw a 1979 280ZX for sale locally but the price was $10K. I had to take a look at the car. I called up the owner to find out the story and it had less than 98K km on the odo (61K miles) and has had relatively little use and has been garaged stored its whole life. It has had an accident and some body work with full steel replacements done as well. The body work looks to be very well done and you would have to know about it to even know any had been done. It has also had about $2000 worth of recent maintainance/repairs done. It's not my car I'm selling but these cars don't come along in this condition so I though I'd take some pictures and pass the info on to who ever might be interested in it. They had the car appraised at $10,500 by a reputable appraiser with 37 years experience. I don't know what they want for it but I'm assuming they aren't going to give it away either. I told the owners I would post the info for them since the car is in unusually good condition and might be of intrest to someone on one of the forums.
