Nissan Titan?

I was thinking of picking up a used Nissan Titan so I don't have to drive my Z in winter. Does anyone here have one? and how reliable are they? I test drove an 05 and they drive nice but I've been hearing horror stories of the front/rear diffs grenading and rotors warping horribly.

I'm almost positive someone on here has one....can't remember off hand who it was. I don't think there is much to worry about with Japanese trucks...

I HAD one...great truck but they have problems like all other vehicles. Great room and badass engine. Gotta watch out for when the cat burns out and f's the engine up. the gas gauge goes out as well as climate switch. But they suck pretty bad on gas. Nissan has a call back on the cats but they found something wrong that the previous owner did and voided it all. so i wasnt going to poney up for a new block so i bought a 07 frontier. just wish they would put the 5.6 in the frontier NOW that would be fun

Well if what I read is true, they get better MPG then my Z does right now... I'm seriously thinking of selling my Z for a dependable truck.

Well not that low but its under 20MPG now and still dropping and I have NO idea why... And I only drive idk 5 miles a day at most, unless I'm going out to the next town over or SLC. Vernal is a pretty small town. That and ever sense I sold my only full sized truck I've wanted and needed another one.

I know, I'm not looking forward to it either. I don't think I'll get much if anything for my 280ZX, that 300ZXTT on the other hand will probably sell very fast. So unless someone gives me a good offer for my 280ZX I'll be keeping it.

I just really need a good, year round work vehicle that I can daily drive w/o worry.

I understand. You can always buy some more Zs in the future. They'll always be out there!

theres a recall on this too, we put new fuel sending units in them all the time

its covered tho.

Im a fan of the 5.7L but the truck itself it big for my taste, I have a 79 620 for a DD truck.

I will admit it is a tad huge when compared to my old truck but Its not semitruck huge like I was expecting either. tho the dash and consoles seem kinda overkill large.

I dont recall what all of them are but we do the fuel sending units quiet a bit on them a few other models but there recall so you just have to bring it in and the dealer takes care of it.

I can look for the recall list for 08 and older tho
Ill be at work tomorrow.

and for the love of god, if you do a fuel sending unit recall make sure your gas tank is as empty as you can get it.
thos ****ers are HEAVY when some guy thinks its cool to bring it in with a full tank...

I don't care much for how big the feel, but they sure are comfortable to be a passenger in.

2 main campains on it is the A/C condenser fan and the fuel sender.

they may or may not apply to that truck in particular,
to find out just call the dealer and give them the VIN and they will look it up.

over all its a good rig, my only complaint is how big it is but thats just my personal taste.

for the new trucks I prefer the Frontier in size.
