i'm looking at an '88 Justy 4wd, 1.2L L3 motor
its basicly a half an H6 motor with a smaller bore and some modifications for some werid *** oil/water pumps.

i havent bought it but its $150 wih some assembly required, the motor is out and the ad says "needs the new one installed" i doubt the motors new but since its out and i do buy it i would probally rebulid it if it hasnt been already. mabe port the head for some extra umpf and mabe use a 240Z SU carb (should be jetted right 1.2L is 1/2 a 240 displacment) and get away from the smog carb on the thing

i'm just looking for something hella cheap that i am familiar with and doesent hurt that i could have some fun with it too (4x4, easy to tweak) but the most expencive thing seems to be a gasket set for some reason, everything else (bearings rings ect) are hella cheap, insurance is $30 a month and i am 24 and gass milage on these are regularly in the 30's and 40's, i'd be happy with upper 20's my self

ok i hate to double post but this is too damn funny not to double post about.

when you get the metro up and running you can do this mod to it
http://deblogatory.blogspot.com/2009...-dekotora.html
its not done to a geo here but i am sure its a universal mod any one can do to their small car

I looked a couple months ago and found two. Just looked recently and found a couple. Surprisingly there are stock HF's still running around Washington and are often for sale on Craigslist.

I do see some that were an HF but now have an engine swap and are gutted.

The secret, which is implied but did not say, is that he can get $200 V8 engines all day long that produce 350hp right from the start!
