I believe he did have a Z31 at one point, think he's had a Z32 and was showing his Z33 this year.

Lurking for the most part, but without a Z, I don't stop by much. The Supra is eating up a lot of my time.

Better power to weight in the S30 for sure, but more rust issues haha. The Supra isn't quite as fun for cornering, but it's much more relaxed on highway drives. Don't worry though, I still have a couple L28ETs sitting around that make me want to build them up and stuff them in a Z.

OMG is that really Rod??? Didn't think I'd hear from you again.

Anyhoo, been thinking about getting a 4x4, but I'm conflicted on what to get. Lots of 90s luxo-SUVs for super cheap, like Disco 2s and Grand Cherokees and such. or maybe a late 90s pathy or 4Runner. Z isn't going anywhere, so help me decide on my offroad beast.

Sup E! And Rod!

I'm a big fan of the 4Runner. I've owned an 87 and 91. The 85-89 has the removable half top. I bought a spare and cut the back off so the back seat's still covered, but open cargo area.

Jeeps are "cool" I guess... around here the only people who drive Jeeps are 16-18 yr old chicks. Not near as reliable as a Toyota or Nissan either.

Yeah, 4Runner and Pathy are at the top of my list. XTerra maybe, but ehhh. 90s land cruisers/LX450s keep catching my eye too. Wont be a daily driver, so gas mileage isn't high of the priority list. I keep seeing super cheap Jeeps on CL and am tempted, but then i have to remind myself why they are cheap. Same with the rovers, it's funny that you can get a $100k truck for 5 grand.

Hey guys! I'm still alive! Haven't done anything in the Z world since I crashed my 280zx in February 2011, RIP my friend, but I still have my fairlady. Since my last time on here I finished up college, got an associates, got a kick *** job, spent 3 days in the hospital from a motorcycle wreck, married, and now have a kid on the way! I've been dying to strip down my 280zx and do something with my 78 Fairlady Z. A couple more years after medical bills are done and things are settled with the baby and new house I will fire up a Z project again!
