Free 280ZX factory tape deck / SOLD
not working. I plugged it into the dash harness and it does not power on.
From a 1981 280ZX turbo, low miles but sat a long time after having some mechanical issue with the engine.
Offering the radio unit itself for free, not the blue plastic surround. Wires carefully unplugged. Good for parts or fix.

eh... $15 should do it. Is it worth that to you?
hmmm... maybe I'll send you that other silver piece too. Its light weight but big.

280zx radio-tape from Bleach
I bought the radio and tape unit.
The tape works great, after replacing fuse.
The radio has a short/ground on the power
supply line causing fuse to blow. I did try
to isolate the short but without a schematic,
I gave up.
If anyone needs spare radio components, such as
fuse socket or other, then I am willing to part
with it, shipping cost or swap for a light Switch
assembly.
Now that my radio and tape work well, the darn
Head lamps switch is not passing equal current
to left and right head-lamps. Soo on low beam
left head lamp is dim, no blown fuse, while the
right is bright.
I have the local Nissan dealer searching for a
repair price or a new replacement tape with
the same cable connections. New would provide
better reliability as tape drives bands fail
often.
If interested give me a pm.
