Stick with it, your suffering from what I like to call "Buyer's Remorse" it happens to everyone, I have that feeling sometimes about my 1996 TT. Don't worry about making it mint. Dont worry about making it a 1/4 mile monster. Just take it one thing at a time and give it lots of TLC! and most of all....HAVE FUN!

First, relax. Second, please try to use punctuation, its hard for me to decide when your sentences end and begin. But don't worry. My first car was a '87 300ZX turbo. I always wanted one myself. Now after I bought it I had some problems; power steering pump leaking, faulty alternator (PS pump leaked on it.), no highbeams / running lights, shocks / struts need to be replaced, bad master cylinder, vacuum hoses mixed up, a pair of rusted wire cutters under my headlight. The list can go on and on. A tuneup is basically spark plugs, plug wires, timing belt adjusted and some other minor things. It can get costly to repair your car though. If your engine and transmission are in good order, most of the other stuff can be tackled when you have time. Just relax, get the manual on your car, and just start at it.

Re: i need some advice seriously!!!
ok check this out i paid 6000 for my 90zx n/a. i love but i just got it out of the shop today i had to replace the clutch, the master slave cylinder, and the power steering presure hose, i had the flywheel refaced and i had to replace the drive shaft bearing. I had all this done for 800 dollars the only reason why i had it done was because i didnt have the time to do it myslef being in the military and all. I bought my zx less than 2 months ago and had to replace all that but now that i have it runs smoother than ever and i love it even more now so stick with it and yes its going to hurt your wallet but it will all be worth it in the end
