help MAF problem
INFO: hi I am new too this website and I just got my first car it is a 1993 z32 n/a and I've been wanting this car since I was 11 and started too get into imports.
PROBLEM:well for starters I bought my car with no idle and a died battery so it would start up and die straight out then I read my check engine light and it said my throttle position sensor (tps) and Mass air flow sensor I replaced both parts idk whats wrong with the tps but as soon as I unplug my MAF sensor the car starts up and idles at 2100 rpms and then you put it into gear it wont pass 2600rpms and I don't know if me driving it or even turning it on is bad for the engine and my car is running very rich. oh yeah before I start it up and it makes a noise as if something is struggling to push a liquid like a buzzing sound then it stops and if I don't wait sometimes the car wont start up.

Welcome to ZDriver!
I'm not a Z32 guy but you can DL a freebie factory service manual at XenonZ32.com Reference along with other cool docs. (Looks like the '93 manual is missing - but '90 and '94 ought to be close enough if you do the averages... ) Check out the FSMs for their inspection and troubleshooting pages. Nissan is normally pretty good about that stuff in their manuals. Easy to follow procedures, step-by-step - and maybe they can help you figure it all out while you wait for Z32 guys here to check in and give you a hand.
Thanks and welcome again
