1992 Nissan z32 " need to smog "!!!!!! help!!

so I bought a 300zx (z32) 1992. and I need to smog it but it has non legal intake pipes and I need ones that are legal and my friend has some but he has a 1994 Nissan z32 and I was wondering if i would be able to use those so I can pass smog? please help anyone!!!

I flipped a coin and the answer is yes, if the pipes fit your '92. While you are waiting for the Z32 guys to wake up and comment here, try the swap and see if it works. In CT we used to be able to slip the test station guys a bribe to give us a pass but no more. The state now watches every test on CCTV and monitors the computers too. Big brother.

The intake pipes shouldn't cause you to not pass smog. That is on the air side of the engine. When I lived in CT because the cars were "old" they stuck a wide band o2 in the tailpipe. If you are having pass issues you may be need of a tune up. I also remember there being an exemption for "antique care" over 25 years old. Good luck
