1991 300zx Wont start after new key! help!
Hello everyone! in fairly new to the board and also to z32s in general. My issue started when i went to go lock up my car after i got home. i went to go and lock it when i got home, and the key broke inside of the drivers side door lock! i called a lock smith to make a new key (when i got the car it had no spare) and take out the piece that was stuck in the door lock. He made the key using the trunk lock i think he mentioned. So after that he started the car and it ran fine with the exception that now i had the security light on after i turned it off (never had that before) but it ran and moved up and down the drive way, so i thought it was fixed. So come next day im jumping in to go to work and shifted it into second, and the car just went and died like i turned the key off, and i had the security light flashing! First thing i did was call the lock smith, he told me he forgot to put the sensor back on the trunk when he made he key, i quickly hooked it back up and got nothing. Now the car wont start, when ever it cranks the security light is flashing even after i try to take it out of security mode by locking and unlocking the door with the key. i have gone as far as taken the security module and relay on the pass side out to now avail. I hear the fuel pump but no injector click when i turn the car over. i tested the ECM for codes and only got a code 55- no dtc stored code.
Im really desperate! please help!
thanks in advance!!!!

I have the lock smith who fixed the car and made the key before tracing back what he did in case he missed something when he put the car back togather. I tried google already to no avail. My last hope it the local nissan dealer.

Wow its fixed.
I took a second look under the hood and found the fuel system to be in proper order. I started to think it wasn't the security system since it didn't display the classic "no crank" that everyone was bringing up in regards to a problem with the security system. I found it had no spark when I sprayed some starting fluid into the plenum and didn't even get a puff out it. My first suspicion after that was the CAS, and bingo! A loose connector. Pushed it all the way on and thr car started on the first turn! Problem solved
