it unscrews. righty tighty lefty loosy. If you can't figure that out you should sell the car now and buy a honda.

Yes no kidding socket or wrench. Seems to be quite in there. I'll buy a corvette instead.

Use the wrench size that fits.

The hex fitting for an open end wrench is hidden behind the base of the unit body. I do not remember the wrench size. Slip the wrench in behind the sensor and turn CCW.

yep that is what righty tighty lefty loosy means. with digital watches all the rage not many people connect with cw or ccw.

there are two different sizes depending if it OEM or after market. Use an open end wrench that fits.

they were knuckle busters in the 80's
it took a strong wrench not to spread and round the hex
I had a Mac with a hex open end that worked well I think the senders were put in dry and the galvonizing tore away leaving it steel to cast and rusted . some twisted of flush leaving a big head ache
you can try grabbing the shell crimp with channel locks
