Relacing head light- ring lock won't tunn

Hi Guys:

I know this is a wuss rated question but..I have changed the bulb on my previous cars numerous times..but the lock ring won't budge. I sprayed some wd40 earlier and will go out and see if that helps. But asking for any tips or tricks you guys have picked up along the way to make the job go easier.

Thx

OK got it done wow..what a bitch!
A 5 minute job tuns into a few hours what else is new?

Had to really work the piece till it moved and then I saw blood in the water would not stop till she came off. Of course, the bulb broke up inside the lens..so I had to pull it out with a pliers..i.e once I got the plug out of the lens.

Think they could give us a little more length on that wire? GEEZ!
Then, the plastic lock ring fell down into the engine somewhere..handy flashlight app on phone helped me there find it. Then just taking the time guiding the bulb into the plug using two hands ever so delicately and a gloved hand making sure no fingerprint or oil got on the bulb..who hasn't been there before?

Final step to get that ring to lock again! Whew..I am always amazed when I get something finished when I was sure I would not be able to complete the job.

Ok onto the next thing!
