So I can't remember for the life of me how the wiring on the alternator goes. There's the big black wire and the little black wire, I just need to know which one is ground. I have a pic but can't figure how to upload it. The haynes manual and fsm doesnt show what im looking for. If someone could clear this up ide appreciate it. Thanks

Good question! Some of the info people need is missing from your post. This site wants to help out people with 40+ years(!) of Zs...think about it. Mucho Zs. So do yourself a favor. Sign in, go to User CP menu (upper left), click Edit Signature and add your Z model, year, shifter, turbo or NA, etc. Saves you having to add it to every post. (Guys here go crazy if you don't lock your Q to your specific Z every time you post... They just ignore questions like yours without enough info) Then click Edit Avatar and add a little Z pic under your nick. Is that cool enough? Solid.
