Body rigidity

Hey guys, quick question. I was wondering what people have done to stiffen the unibody on our cars. When I turn in steeper driveways I hear creaking from flex, and I can't open my doors when I lift the car. (Yes, I'm lifting it correctly). Just curious what options I have besides a full roll cage. Thanks

Strut tower braces

braces between your strut towers helps a lot, there are several after market brands
Motorsport! Cusco Strut Bar, Front, 84-89 300ZX - The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts

If your car is sagging that much when you lift it, you must have some major rust ? or something wrong with the uni-body, you can have it reinforced with sections underneath also, which sounds like what you might need.

Yeah my rockers/pinch weld are pretty much gone. Getting that done this summer hopefully. Know where I could get those? Haven't been able to find them.

parting 84

by this summer I will most likely have my wrecked z31 cut up, the floor pan and rockers are in cherry shape, it was a garaged , never driven in bad weather car until it ended up being my daily. The underneath is so clean, I was amazed how nice the cover is that fully conceals the exhaust, pretty trick kit

Haha well, I might be contacting you in the summer then. Also need those side trunk pan things. The to do list goes on as I slowly come to terms with the most expensive hobby out there

Does anyone here have a diagram showing the lifting points?

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply! I already had the manual just hadn't gotten to the right section & by the time I got home son had already raised it by the diff. He's dropping the gas tank in order to drain and clean before putting in a new fuel pump. The cars in some real need of help as it had been abandoned for some 11 years. Again thanks for the info:-)
