Welcome to ZDriver!

You can DL freebie factory service manuals for those Zs at XenonZ31 Reference and XenonZ32.com Reference Other great docs too.

I think if you just look at the cluster diagrams in the manuals you will be able to tell if the one will even fit into the other. If you are asking whether a certain set of gauges will transfer, that would have to do with the way their respective sensors work and whether sensor types can be switched. It's not an easy question to answer - but if you can figure it out, you will have an answer -and that you can post here for the rest of us.

I always think that the Z31 cluster is good looking and fairly complete. One shortcoming is that my Z31 turbo lacks a battery charge gauge. What is it that makes you want a Z32 cluster instead? Or are you thinking of switching out a digital package for analog? What are actually you looking for?

Thanks and welcome again!

I would spend my time and money on other more enhancing things.

To answer your questions, yes, you can put a Z32 instrument cluster in a Z31. Will it bolt in, no. 88Hybrid (Kevin) put in a entirely custom cluster in his 88T. It can be done. But Why? You have to know what you are doing, read schematics, be able to fabricate what is needed.

I have a Z32 and its cluster is no better than a Z31's
