where the pedal and the sensor hit isn't touching anymore. There was a small piece of rubber that it would touch. Happened to me once.

Check up underneath the dash where the pedals are and you'll understand

i was just thinking if it doesnt have that rubber part anymore, cant i just screw it 1/4 inch more inner so its push when it touches the brake peddle, so then its push in. adn when i push the brakes it will let off. and then it will light up

you just need it to touch something (pressed in when not braking)
I put a sticky piece of rubber to cover the hole the orange thing was and the switch touches that and works just fine

I just took a nut and bolt I had laying around in the garage and adjusted it to work. Same thing with the cruise control on the clutch pedal.

You can get new rubber stoppers at a nissan dealer, less than two bucks a piece.

nut and bolt. this is the most common mod used to fix this issue on both the S-Series and the Z31 series.
