Looking really nice, I love the look of freshly machined metal.

This site allow bigs pictures, so please don't shrink them down, the bigger the better, I like all the added detail, and if the pics are good, I use them in my desktop wallpaper rotation.

Tripples
Tuning the tipples would be my biggest challenge, getting them all setup exactly the same is important I would imagine. keep us posted on getting her tuned up. I bet those pull a lot of air and sound pretty good when you put your foot in it. Add some headers and a nice exhaust system and you have pure music ! Keep up the great work

Break in
I am a bit of a stickler for careful break-in, not over revving, lots of oil changes early on, can really extend the life and performance of an engine. Was wondering what your plans are?

Well I started her up yesterday just to make sure it would fire up and all. But I'm at a bit of a nexus I also installed a new cam which requires a 20 minute 2000 rpm initial breakin. For the engine breakin ie rings I plan a varied idle to 3500 rpm easy drive with high gear engine braking oil change at 50 500 1500

My current ride sucks
MY DD is a 91 Mitsubishi / dodge ram 50, my 81 280zx should be registered tomorrow, I need the brakes worked on a little and she is good to go. Would have been sooner, but I just dropped almost $3600 on dental work... which I really needed and had been putting off, so that put a kink in my current project. But now I can refocus on my car, since its almost summer I was really wanting to get it back on the road. I did go shopping for new 370z's last weekend, 32K for a pretty nice one, I am looking at a promotion and raise at work, supposed to go into effect this month, but I am seriously nervous about getting a big loan like that, so I am just waiting to see if I get a bonus, then maybe a new car. On the flip side, if I just save my money I can really fix my s130 up and find myself a nicer s30 to heavily Mod. That's the long answer.

haha should just get a G37 at that point but i do covet the 370z. My s130 is up and running but i just had to tear the head off due to a faulty ITM head gasket.. never herd of them you say? yeah.. So i will be installing the FELPRO tomorrow. The power is THERE butt dyno 180 at the wheels.. Soon its off to the mustang dyno for a more scientific approach. It was seeping coolent out of the passenger side of the block. Compression is 180 psi in all cylinders (rings not broke in) and the oil had no coolant in it and the coolant has no oil in it .

take that fan clutch off and go electric, extra 15-20 hp is always a welcomed addition. hey rick send me an email again with your shipping info, I'm going to try another approach using greyhound for that header.

i used a e220 flexilite dual puller fan (i think thats the number), it barely fits between the frame rails. i used a painless wiring fan switch. works very well and mounts into the thermo housing where one of the stock thermotime switches was. it is pre set like an oem unit, then just use a relay to trigger the fans. the switch triggers via the negative side of the relay. i took a bunch of stuff off the car to make it lighter and made some necessary heat shields out of aluminum insead of steel. nothing fancy, these cars are somewhat light anyway, 2800lbs or so, strip them right down and closer to 2100 is possible but its pretty much race only then

I believe I'm going to go junk yardin tomorrow take some measurements and find something for a swap saw a Kia once with dual off set fans looked like it would fit I'm deleting the bumpers they are ugly. Im gunna make a fiber one front and back.
