Replacing the E Brake

I was looking to replace the e brake on my coupe and I was look at parts on Black Dragon and MSA. The rear brake cable it is double the price at MSA compared to Black Dragon.

Has anyone ever bought the cable from either vendor? If so, is the MSA one worth the extra $$$?

I was looking the FSM about the E brake and it does not seem to be all the difficult to replace. Anything funking or tips I should know about before I do the install?

Thanks!

The MSA parts are OEM most likely, its a pretty basic cable, so making an aftermarket one would be fairly easy, most likely that is what BlackDragon has done. In this instance I would go with a lower price, I love MSA, they are coming out with cool stuff all the time, and buying from them does specifically benefit our hobby. They just added a new section to the catalog, refurbished parts. So either way you go, I bet you get a good cable.

Thanks for the input, Pred!

So.... I just notice that the cables are not available at MSA.

I went to order them on Black Dragon and they only have the front cable for the 2+2, but they only have the rear cable for the coupe. I find that kind of odd. Is it that they truly only have the front cable for the 2+2 and the rear for the coupe or am I missing something?

Here is the link to Black Dragon:
