Few Rim and Tire questions
Hey i checked a few different posts on this forum, and still have a few unanswered questions.
-If you want to lower your car, and use 16's what is the widest you can go far as wheel and tire?
-I been checking google, and few local shops, Do Rota RB(r)'s come in a nice 16x9 or 16x9.5? and would that fit without rubbing or spacers?? or would I have to use 17's??
-If i wanted to use ZG fender flares, what is the width of wheel and offset I would need to use??
-Has anyone ordered off Diamond Racing Wheels, there smoothie style looks very interesting! wouldn't mind getting a second set of 15 or 16's in that style if the Rotas don't pan out.
http://kxwheels.com/kx/wheel/xxr-whe...etal-ml-0f91c/ -- these come in a 16x8 with 0 offset, which isn't the negative that I would like, but there avab. not sure if 0 would be advisable for are low offset cars?
Thanks, again!
My apologizes if I have missed any of these answered on the forum already, I went through almost all the pages and wheel post, if I missed something, sorry in advance!

Too many variables. How low? Planning on s13 coilover swap in the future? How low after that? Backspacing can make a huge difference as to how a rim fits on the body. I run 16x8 XXRs with 225.60.r16s and a +10 backspacing and run about a quarter inch from my KYB gas-a-just shocks with no name springs.

i was planning in going stock susp coil overs.
and probally few inchs if all possible, i know for my other two cars when i lowered it to much i could use curtain wheels which is a given.
I was able to locate some 16x8's rota rbks, but with the rotas it has a negitive offset, would that be a big issue?

Low to negative offset is preferred with our cars. Part of if it will fit is going to depend on your tires. The taller they are, the more likely to rub. The other part will be your drop. The reason I got the ones that I did was for keeping my speedo as accurate as possible. You said stocj coilovers, but I assume you mean the stock strut and spring setup. You said for a lowered car. Are you planning on cutting the springs? Or swapping in some saggy stockers? Different setups will fit differently with stock and lowered components. Also, flares can play a part in fitment.

I have a 1983 N/A coupe.
I'm looking at some Enkei "Compe" 16" x 7" wheels -- which have a 0 offset.
I also plan on going with Eibach "Pro Kit" springs and Tokico struts/shocks.
I want to keep my speedo and my gearing happy, and it looks like the OD for 205/55/16 is the closest to the stock 195/70/14.
Will these wheels and tires have any fitment issues with these springs/struts/shocks?
I've seen some sites say these will fit with no issues, and I've seen some sites say these will require modification.
Can anyone give a good definitive answer, or provide a link that will steer me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance for any help!
