That year the only option was 2-seater, 2+2, or ZXR. T-tops and turbo had not come out yet.

I think I know where to find the code for the 280zx's silver color that year. What color (in general) was your 280zx?

I even called nissan here in Kelowna but they are to new of a store to have any records on the 280zx. I would really like some help on finding the original paint code or the ppg paint code. If anyone could help me out that would be great because I am entering the second coat of primer and would like to get the paint oredered as soon as possible.
You should be able to find the codes there for the year and model you have. The paint code is also on the vin # too. I believe it's on the drivers door. A paint shop will read it and it will be able to convert it to a PPG # as I had my 1980 10th A.E. painted this past year Sept. 2004. The PPG paint matched the Datsun color of 1980.

A good Paint shop. Good Luck,
Billy
