Wiring
Speaking of made in USA. Found a good source for wiring harness. Plug and play from Wiring Specialties. Specifically for VH4DE into the 280z. Includes everything from the Ignition switch to the alternator. Can utilize the stock Infinity ECU. No more fear.
All of you have a Merry Christmas and holidays!

I have another car that I started thinking it would be done quickly but as I went along it just wasn't worthy of doing it any less that my best work.
Thanks, Tom

update
Ok fellow Zeds. With over 50k views I must tell you all that I have not given up on this project. I had to set it aside to finish another car https://www.zdriver.com/forums/240z-...dy-work-39422/. And I had to put that one off because of work demands.
I'm pretty sure I will build the '75 car. With the value of Zs going up I don't want to mod my series one cars to much.
Plans include full cage and racing seats. The power to weight ratio with the stock VH is almost as much as my Corvette but with no traction control.

Have work demands gone down yet?
I'm getting my suspension from APEX ENGINEERED soon and then ill be modifying it for bags.
Have my ztrix widebody paid for just waiting for better weather for more reliable shipping.
Once suspension is on, its going to my body guy to get assembled and painted and glass installed.
my LS 6.0 is all built and ready to go, T56 6spd is converted and ready to go, turbo is ready to go.
Time to get your kiester in gear bucko!

Bout time!!!
Excited to see progress......my acid dip and Ecoat isn't going to happen until April of 2021 assuming I get a tax return.
Then I can put on all my apex stuff and finish sizing drive shaft and air ride stuff.

Why you gotta do me like that hahaha
I havent made much progress recently and honestly I'm just embarrassed.
I'm also in the middle of buying a house, so although I have committed to using my tax return for the acid dip and e-coat, something might come up where I need to use that for the house....I have almost entire suspension, entire powertrain, ecu, universal chassis harness, widebody components. I'm contemplating changing the fuel system I had selected to an all in one fuel cell surge tank unit from Radium....but then I'd have to get new fuel pumps. I still need brakes and wheels and restraints.
I was excited following your project so I kept poking this one hoping to be delightfully surprised that its finished!
Still wishing your project luck and hope it goes better and faster than mine has haha

Well fellow Zeds, it looks like this thread will hit 100,000 views this weekend. I just want to let you all know that this build is not dead and neither am I. I have had to make some serious adjustments to my life because stuff happens. Thanks for looking. Your comments and questions are always welcome.
