Purchased a NOS Passenger Side Window Regulator as this was worn out and broken also.
Have called around and to date have not found any replacement parts for the plastic pieces that are broken with the component that actually holds the window glass.
I've found a basket case 1974 260Z car for sale with two extra doors but the car is junk except for the engine and the doors.
I'll keep an eye on ebay for a good used door or good used passenger side window, if anyone has any leads, especially in the SoCal area please shoot me an e-mail at
Mike@ShowCarGarage.com
Thanks,
Mike

Found out from another Z-Enthusiast that the doors on my 260Z are actually off a 240Z, he said he could tell because the arm rest and the pull strap are one piece on a 260Z door and if you look at the picture above of my door they are two components.
This means the 1974 260Z NOS window regulator I purchased for for my 260Z will not fit. I removed the regulator from the door and laid them side by side and inspected and indeed the mounting holes are completely different.
So I'm looking for a window regulator for a 240Z if anyone has one in good condition and if you have a 260Z with the original doors and you need a new window regulator I know a guy who has one.

I don't have the regulator myself, but I just got some excellent used parts from Z Car Source in Arizona. Prices were quite fair, and the people were very friendly and professional. They shipped my stuff the day after I placed the order, and even used that new QuantumView feature from UPS, so I knew exactly where my parts were at all times. If you can't turn up the parts for free from acquaintances on here, you might want to try them:

If I remember correctly, some of the 240Z window parts are getting difficult to find?
good luck,
Dave

Okay...
Bought the nice NOS 1974 260Z Passenger Side Window Regulator to help rebuild my window system in the passenger door off eBay. Product was very nice, just as advertised.
Then I find out my doors are off a 240Z and the 260Z regulator won't work because the mounting holes and the window crank shaft don't align on the 240Z door.

Anyway, a gentleman I met on eBay looked at the below picture in this thread and then told me that what my 260Z has is 240Z doors. So this explains why the 260Z regulator won't work.
So hopefully these pictures might help others in the future identify and obtain the right parts.
