AFB 280zzzzzz

I found a true "AFB" off a 65 Pontiac 421 , 575 cfm ,,, oh my this is much better than the 4100 fomo.,... ebay cool... 63 with shipping

That looks like a monster. Airflow seems well matched to the motor though, assuming that's an L28. Looks like the install is complete.

How big of a performance difference did you notice? Was it mostly at the top end?

not sure about the performance of the FI system because it never worked when I got the car, but I drove a 260 w/ FI years ago and it seemed a bit sluggish. I also had a 240 w/ the side drafts and this is much more responsive throughout the band... top end is awe inspiring, almost scary...

Not Quite Electric Yellow

I saw this over at the body shop which will do the finish work on my 260Z.

This is a 20 foot car. Looks good at 20 feet but when you get closer there are lots of problems. The owner is getting it completely stripped down and re-done.



You can see the panels are different colors.


The filled-in body kit is starting to crack.



However, overall the yellow does look good on this car.
