Picked one up today and the Gauge is not accurate at all. Think its good to drive to my local Z specialist shop to have a few things checked out that im not familiar with, or dont have the tools to fix T.T

If the gauge isn't accurate, what were the ACTUAL readings? Don't make us pry info out of you....

When the gauge was at 210, the temp was reading 170 from the thermo. I drove it 28 miles to a Z shop today, and when i got there, 2 of my coolant lines instantly started spewing coolant everywhere. Im tired of this car already and dont have the cash to fix it. Im going to sell it and just work on my ZX i believe. If anybody wants to take it off my hands its theres for like 2500-3000.

Giving up because of a leaking coolant line? That's a new one.

turbo swapped 280Z huh? i got a project one of those. but for the right price i'd beinterested. post pics!

but sounds like simple problems. to get a turbo swaped S30 to pull hard is a big step. so a leaking coolant line and a misreading guage i NOTHING AT ALL. i think you ar giving up to easily. its from the 70's afterall. there are plenty of Z owners out there that would wish that the least of their problems are as simple as yours. i venture you wish to have something to drive off the lot fun and never give you problems for a good ten years. if so, you need to buy a brand spankin new honda lol.

And it does pull hard, wrecked my buddies 08 sti, and his friends MR. Its good to drive for 10-15 miles, even romping on it hard, but after that it all goes to hell for me haha.
